Exhibitor: Frequently Asked Questions

  • Booth setup should be completed before 1:00 PM on Thursday, when Exhibit Halls officially open. Exhibitors are encouraged to arrive during Participant Check-in (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) at UUMC to allow ample time for setup.

  • Exhibit Halls will be open at both University United Methodist Church (UUMC) and Austin Seminary during the following times:

    • Thursday
      • 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
      • 8:30 PM – 9:45 PM

    • Friday
      • 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

    To complete your exhibitor passport and earn a free drink at the Yard Party, be sure to visit both exhibit spaces during these hours.

  • Past Progressive Youth Ministry (PYM) conferences have typically welcomed 200 to 400 in-person participants each year. During the pandemic, the virtual community expanded to over 3,000 members, reflecting the growing interest and reach of the event.

  • The Exhibit Hall Passport is your interactive guide to exploring both exhibit spaces at University United Methodist Church (UUMC) and Austin Seminary. Participants must visit both locations during open exhibit hours to complete their passport. Once completed, you’ll earn a free drink token redeemable at the PYM Yard Party on Friday night!

  • Yes, exhibitors are encouraged to submit workshop proposals for future PYM conferences. However, for PYM 2025, all workshop sessions have already been finalized. If you're interested in presenting at a future event, please reach out to the conference team or watch for the next call for proposals.

  • The closest airport to the PYM 2025 Conference is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).

    • Distance to Conference Venues:
      University United Methodist Church (UUMC) and Austin Seminary are located near the University of Texas campus, approximately 20–25 minutes by car from AUS.
      • Rideshare, taxi, and rental car options are readily available at the airport.

  • PYM is a casual and inclusive gathering. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that reflects their personality and allows them to move easily between venues. You’ll be walking between University United Methodist Church (UUMC) and Austin Seminary, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

    Feel free to dress in a way that makes you feel confident and authentic—whether that’s jeans and a t-shirt, clerical attire, or something creative. Just be mindful of the professional and spiritual nature of some sessions, especially plenary gatherings.

  • Table linens or covers are not included with your exhibit fee. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring their own table coverings to enhance their display and maintain a professional appearance.
